Re: Cambridge Winter Hawks First To Do Some Firing
Patton has been a bust so far. I had high expectations for him this year and he just doesn't have it so far.

Re: Brantford shocking Mid-West
They were outworked by both Waterloo and Brampton and out shot pretty heavily. Big believer in analytics, and I wouldn't be surprised if this is a quick start. Look at Will Rawski last 4 games: DATE GAME RESULT DEC MIN GA SA SSV 09/18/15 @ Brampton 2-0 W 60:00 0 45 45 09/17/15 vs Waterloo 3-0 W 59:...

Re: Sutherland Cup round 1 predictions
Looks like a rough night for the Vipers goaltending, I heard Lasalle was right there but didn't have the goaltending to compete. Just from what ive heard from a few people. I will go Sugar Kings in 5 hoping I am wrong tho. Looking forward to seeing Caledonia on Friday night. Battisti knocked the pu...

It will be interesting to see how Elmira fairs with the long ride to the VOLLmer centre.

Look at Waterloo last year hahaha. If Caldwell can stand on his head, Stratford could take the series

Re: Wildcard Team
Honestly, I think the wildcard format is incredibility stupid which rewards losers, for example, St. Catherines last year. St. Catherines was defeated for the GH Trophy but then made it to the Sutherland Cup finals because they were the wildcard and defeated Leamington. Sure the round robin wasn't p...

My buddy and I went from Kitchener on Saturday night and it didn't seem like a 1,000 people. I was quite impressed how LaSalle played but I think Leamington is going to take the series in 7flyers2011 wrote:Lasalle was a sell out they said last night and was only 1,030

Re: Midwest : Final ( Cherrey CUP)
Waterloo was depleted by the end, they had to use Danny Hanlon as a defenseman. It was rough to watch.
As for my prediction, Elmira in 6. As much as I would like to see Stratford win it finally, I can't see them getting past Elmira.

Re: Possible changes to import rules, possible new team
It will be interesting to see how many players jump ship to the GMHL jr "A" league that is putting expansion teams in London, Komoka, and Kingsville for the 2015 - 16 season. Those teams will be based in the GOJHL western conference zone That league is joke. I heard a player that couldn't...

Re: GOJHL Showcase
You need at least 3 rinks. Places where I think could hold it is:
Midwest:
Kitchener Aud (3 Rinks)
Wayne Gretzy Centre, Brantford (4 Rinks)
Rim Park, Waterloo (3 Rinks)
West:
Western Fair Grounds, London (4 Rinks)
I'm unsure about Lasalle or Sarina because I never been to games there

Re: RE: Round 2 predictios
I'm going to be different and say: Stratford in 6. Stratford has made it to the league finals 4/5 past years and has better goaltending than Kitchener. Waterloo in 7. Waterloo has outscored Elmira in the season series and Reinhart only had a SAV% of. 875. Elmira also takes a lot of penalties and Wat...

Re: Pelham's shameful season comes to an end
If you look 2 years ago, Port Colborne, now Pelham had 74 pts in the regular season. Brantford Golden Eagles, now Caledonia, did not have any wins in 1997-98. It's just a cycle with Junior hockey. Heck, look how long Jr. B was in Owen Sound before they were finally moved? Or Buffalo before they fold...

Waterloo in 4!Prediction: This could be a good series to watch as well. I think it’ll be a tough battle and will go to distance. I’m calling an ‘upset’ and going with Guelph in 7 games. I say ‘upset’ because I don’t consider 4 and 5 an upset. They’re ideally evenly matched teams.

The owner is forcing the coach to start Patterson, Bessette has earned these starts. You know, I like Chatham, I really do...But the organization has turned into a damn soap opera! Re: Pelham getting rocked

Last year when Waterloo played them in the Sutherland Cup Semi-finals, I seen how great of an organization they were, even...

I volunteer with Waterloo so I'm going to seem biased but I do think Waterloo seems to be developing a fair amount of \ This year we lost Troy Lajeunesse, Leo Lazerev who weren't drafted or signed before starting with Waterloo. The year before that we lost Keigan Goetz and Jimmy Soper the same way. ...
