Re: players paying to play
The OHA already charges each player $300 to play each season. And everyone has to pay it. And I understand that there are regulations in place that the teams can't just pay it for them, the player is responsible to pay the OHA the $300.00

Re: Owen Sound Greys
From what you have all said, I'm beginning to see what happened. In Strathroy, we (uh oh, there's that word again) had this situation happen a few different times. We are a community owned, non-profit organization. For the first 8 or so years of the team, we had financial problems. On 2 different o...

Re: Owen Sound Greys
When they took that year off to re-group and try to get their finances in order, is that when the Arsenault group came in? Also, I noticed on their website that they successfully moved Vilanova to Orangeville. It's not a surprise to see them wanting to move OS as well. They'll probably try to move ...

Owen Sound Greys
I don't know much about the situation, but from what I read, the President of the Greys organization is trying to move the team. He's not the out-right owner of the team, it's non-profit and owned by the City of Owen Sound, but he's apparently had meetings with Brent Ladds about it. From what I rea...

That is truly horrible. How many guys play for your respective team that you don't think has the skill level to actually be competitive in Jr. B? You can damn well bet he did this because his son wasn't getting enough ice time in his opinion, so by dropping her ice time back, it would give him more...

Speaking of rankings, why are they not doing them this year? Or at least haven't thus far. They have been found. Someone from the GHL found where they're being done. It's not through the OHA or GOJHL. I think it's somebody independently. http://myhockeyrankings.com/view_2009_rank.php?a=2&v=1825

But that's what Sarnia does. It doesn't matter if they win or if they lose, some of their fans feel the need to say something to you about the game and how your team sucks.

Speaking of rankings, why are they not doing them this year? Or at least haven't thus far. Every team has between 12 and 18 games played, therefore they should have enough information to compile the rankings based on the last 10 games for each team.

Sometimes you just can't let things go. You always have to keep it there, ready to throw back into somebody's face.
