Re: 2018-19 Signings
The thing I like about the "New" Leamington Flyers is that Crowder will be in great company with hockey minds from playing experience in the NHL, NCAA, OHL, etc. It will be a bit of an adjustment as a hole, but I think they will put things together pretty quickly in positive ways.

Re: 2018-19 Signings
Leamington will have fire power and goal tending. I would question the depth of there Defense as it stands? They'll need a better PK than last year if they are to put up as many penalties as last years. Lewis will need help from the back end as his GAA is not the most solid statistically? Maybe his ...

Re: Former GOJHL players joining NHL officiating crews
Well to be an NHL Ref/Official you need to be a really good skater! Mitch certainly is that! Easily the best skater on the ice while he was reffing or playing.

Wonder where that 2000 goalie from Corvairs will end up. Good kid, good tendy! Teams should try and scoop him up
for sure.

Re: 2018-19 Signings
Other than Sarnia and Pelham. I haven't seen any blockbuster goal tenders signing to teams yet! Lets face it, outside
of solid D teams need that Number 1 tendy. That's what it all comes down to when push comes to shove. Although I realize its still pretty early.

Re: Sarnia loses 3 players to Junior C
Lots of time for those young men to change their minds until puck drops in September. Should be interesting to see
if they do stay playing there. Looks like some Junior C teams are really shaping up to contend in the stobbs division this season... Mooretown, Essex, Lakeshore.

4 great pick ups for these teams for sure! Although, Is it me or does it seem like such a small amount of picks for all the fantastic hockey players we have out here, right outside our back door throughout Ontario?

Re: OHA ATTENDANCE FIGURES
I think the 99er's Jr A attendance will be very much the same as the previous 99er's Jr B years! Unless of course they would start winning alot more games which usually starts attracting more fans.

Re: OHA ATTENDANCE FIGURES
Does "attendance" include both teams, all players, coaches, staff, ticket booth guy, Zamboni driver, etc? Some Buffalo games had maybe 10-12 people in the stands/building and they would record 59 in attendance?

They should of did away with 2 - 21 year olds spots and add 2 -16 year olds spots. Most 21 year olds heads are not in it any more anyway, get the young
talent in to learn for the next years to come.

Re: Brantford going Jr A
Yup! The only thing that would deter me from sending my kid to play in the OJ is the cost, its a big "money" league!
I wonder what the conscience would be on a pole of asking 1000 parents whether that would be the determining factor Y/N ?

Re: 2018-19 Signings
The Pelham Panthers have acquired Hometown player Nathan Ellis and local tendy Brandon McCorriston from Caledonia.
They will help on the back end for this team for sure in their beautiful new facility! Great pick up by coach Mark and the boys!

Re: 2018-19 Signings
Why the sudden spike in signings through mid to end of June? Do teams just get anxious or is there some kind of deadline that has to be met for some of this?
