Who wins tonight Pelham (6-1-5-0-2-12-36) in Buffalo (5-0-5-0-0-8-32)?

Bradley van Schubert, who played for the Guelph Hurricanes and the Caledonia Corvairs was the Aurora goalkeeper tonight and Carson Poulin, who played for Stratford Cullitons/Warriors and the Strathroy Rockets was in net for Trenton as the two teams battled to an OJHL 0-0 70-minute tie.

According to an article in this morning's Spec it will now cost most players between League fees and club fees $3500 to play for the Avalanche...will other Jr. B clubs now go with the pay-to-play model?

..and a 6-0 preseason record to date!

Ken Peroff has been named Head Coach of the Ancaster Avalanche.

While some predicted the Ravens would not be able to start the season they have been making some pretty high-profile signings.

21-year old Guy Polillo has been signed by the GMHL's St. George Ravens after putting up 177 points in the GOJHL with the Brantford 99ers and the Caledonia Corvairs..should be good for 100+ points with them this season.

i put a poll up on Twitter yesterday and here are the results so far..I asked the question ' How many games will the Bufflao Regals win this season?' with 4 choices- none/1-5/5-10/more than 10 and so far of the 20 respondents 15% say none, 40% each 1-5 and 5-10 and 5% say more than 10.

..after all is said and done this does not put the League in a very good light. The schedule should have been confirmed and checked for errors before it was posted, some clubs put their schedule out on social media and might now have to change it. Just not what I would expect from the country's numb...

The preseason schedule is up on the GOJHL website but I can't believe it's anywhere near complete.

If, as people have said, the clubs have their schedule it's a bit unusual that the master schedule has not yet been imput into the GOJHL website- perhaps it is a manpower problem. If the clubs have their schedules you would think that they would post them on their on their websites or twitter accoun...

There were a couple of pieces a short while ago on CHCH saying that the team (Thorold)could no longer be known starting this season as the Black Hawks and the 'inappropriate' logo had been removed. Perhaps this did not happen.

I see the 2017-2018 schedule is not out yet. Is the League naming a replacement team for Cambridge and is this causing a delay? I also saw that the Thorold club would no longer be called the Black Hawks..do they have a new name yet? If Buffalo is still in I really hope they can ice a competitive team.
