Re: Playoffs

That must have been some game…Strathroy was leading 4-0 and than 5-2, St Mary’s scores 6 goals in the 3rd period to win 8-5.

Re: 2023-2024 Season

This is what I've put together, but not sure I'm sold on the top 4 slots yet. 1. St. Marys 2. London 3. Strathroy 4. LaSalle 5. Chatham 6. St. Thomas 7. Komoka 8. Sarnia I didn't do too bad in my predictions. Both 1 & 2 and 7 & 8 are flipped. I’m impressed you got Strathroy right and wasn’t...

I'm not sure about worse but Komoka is very disappointing. When they moved from Forest I thought they'd be improving...closer to London which would make them more competitive for recruiting area players and university/college players, nice new clean building to play in, former NHL player as their cu...

Collins Clothiers sponsors the monthly awards, so what else do you expect them to give? For many years, Strathroy's Player of the Month award was sponsored by Poag's Jewellers and they received a very fancy watch. I'm sure they didn't need it, and could have used a gift card for London Source for S...

They say at this time of year it’s the season of reflection and when they do their reflection some don’t like what they see…not just the Chatham Maroons but there has been a movement in recent years to interject themselves into someone’s lives when they seem out of sorts…good for the Maroons and oth...

Re: Schedule

There are worse gifts to give… every single player in this league wears suits to games. Seems like a gift card that can be put to use by any of them. How about a sporting goods store...a restaurant...a shoe store...I could probably come up with about 10-15-20 places they'd shop before Collins Cloth...

I think Tim Simmons is the only commissioner who hands out player of the month awards in any league…I’m sure the players are thrilled to get a gift certificate for a tuxedo shop, like what are they suppose to do with that, maybe wait outside the place and sell it to someone who might use it. https:/...

Well, back in the summer, St. Thomas announced their coaches for this season and Mike was listed as an assistant coach. A few weeks later, London announced him as head coach, and I went back because I thought he was with St. Thomas, and they had updated their post to remove him from the announcemen...

I see there is more outside the conference games being played this week, not a bad idea...it would be a better idea if the games were more competitive, the Nationals play the 1-27 Caledon team.

I don’t know if I’m missing something but the GOJHL site came out with their “First-Ever Power Rankings” yet I didn’t see any rankings, did I miss something?

They are 7-4-2, middle of the pack in the OJHL, their attendance is higher than any GOJHL team...looks like the move is showing positive results early into the season.

St Andrews College 13 London Nationals 4.

Is this for real? Is the St Andrews team that strong? It was a home game for the Nationals and they got slaughtered, outshot 50-26, outscored by 9 goals.
