Caledonia rules?

With the way the Caledonia Corvairs have been accumulating talent they're looking like playoff favourites unless the upstart Fort Erie Meteors can further elevate their game. At least fourteen players in he Caledonia lineup with higher level experience.

So do the Canucks get the points back and how is the playoff structure set up for the playoffs in the Golden Horseshoe Division?

Are the Canucks getting their points back or not? When I checked the GOJHL website standings they still had seven!

Re: Starting Date

The Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League members have determined Wednesday, Dec 2/20 as the opening night for the 2020-21 regular season. The GOJHL will work with the Government and the OHA to be granted approval. Along with our goal of providing the best junior hockey experience in Ontario, the lea...

Re: You had to see this one coming!

Kiltys and Canucks meet three more times this season- Fri. Dec. 21 in NF and back-to-back Mondays, the 14th. and 21st. of January in Hamilton. Could make for some interesting encounters!

Re: You had to see this one coming!

Apparently the OHA has reversed the suspension of the Canucks' leading pointscorer. They must have got a better view than the video that is currently going around on Twitter that was taken from so far away the poor Kilty could have been struck by lightning. Word is he received a concussion, could sa...

You had to see this one coming!

In the rematch of Monday's Kilty/Canucks game in Niagara Falls Friday Hamilton's Freddie Teeple and Niagara's Patrick McCabe got into it early in the third period with Teeple getting a minimum of 5 games for attempt to injure and fighting and McCabe getting a singleton for 'no helmet' and fighting. ...

Good? old-fashioned hockey at the Dave Monday...

It was like the 'good old days' of the Kilty Bees in these somewhat 'sterilized' times. In their game against the Golden Horseshoe leaders, the Niagara Falls Canucks, especially in the third period as the visitors became more and more frustrated by the fact that almost everything the Kilty's were sh...

Credit where credit is due...

Bashing the Buffalo Regals, now the Lockport Regals has been pretty easy but now it's time to give some credit to the club who in their last three have tied Thorold 3-3, beaten Pelham 4-3 and knocked off Welland 4-3 in 2OT. It might, however, be too much to ask them to keep it going tonight in the G...

Here's a radical change..LOL...

Suggestion...perhaps somewhat tongue-in-cheek...take the Golden Horseshoe Conference and revamp the schedule in midstream into two mini-divisions, the top four (the haves) and the bottom four (the have nots) with teams playing only in their 'mini-Division'. This would benefit all the clubs because o...

Is the golden Horseshoe going to be the weakest of the Conferences?

What a great start for the Kilty's after dropping their home opener, now they are 6-1. Not bad for a team of mostly midget age players, no 98's and just 2 '99's- looks like the golden Horseshoe might be the weakest Conference this time around though.

Now let's just throw in a rumour heard at a Junior C game last night- a group from Burlington has put in a bid to buy the GOJHL Brantford franchise and move it to the Wave there (worst plac ever to wtch a hockey game).

Re: It all starts tonight at the Dave...

Full marks to the Kilty's for putting on a good home opening show. Live music, light show, giveaways, prizes great PA system/ scoreboard, puck drop by the Mayor etc. Over 400 fans in attendance, though I thought there was going to be more. Good to meet some old friends from the original Kilty fans! ...

It all starts tonight at the Dave...

The new edition of the Hamilton Kilty Bees takes the ice tonight at the Dave Andreychuk arena against the Pelham Panthers. It's a young team versus a club with a lot of returning players. The Kilty's have no 20-year olds, 2 nineteen-year olds and 5 18-year olds. One player is 15-Mark Duarte. There a...

Re: Fans of the 'new' Kilty's must (like me) wonder what's happening...

The Kilty Bees, according to their website, are playing Friday at 5pm at the Gale Centre in St. Catharines..I believe this should read Niagara Falls.. against Thorold, the Canucks at the same place Saturday at half past twelve and Sunday at 11 against Welland. The Kilty B's open the GOJHL regular-se...
