Re: Bandits
There is no reason to believe he will put in any more effort in Niagara than he did with the team in Milton or the two Brantford teams

Re: Sutherland Cup
Sorry I was away from this for so long, personal reasons. I worded my last entry all wrong, it was a missed comma, I should have written it better like this. I was ill all season and I finally got to a game. I was informed at the Hamilton game I attended at the ended of the season that the differenc...

Re: Sutherland Cup
Story I got in Hamilton just before the pay offs started the Falcon's picked up a really good goalie from the Ice Dogs, this would have been a battle between Hamilton and Caledonia if the Falcons hadn't got their usual feed from the IceDogs

Re: London
The 99ers did it for 3 years. I doubt his son could have made that many Jr D teams. We were told after he moved him up to his tier 2 team he paid big bucks to an OHA team so his kid could have a tryout.

Re: Ayr Centennials Purchase Kitchener Dutchmen
It would be good to pare back the size of the league but unwise to eliminate the teams in the large populated areas

Re: Ayr Centennials Purchase Kitchener Dutchmen
Someone else will probably start another team in Kitchener, probably not right away. This will benefit the Waterloo and Cambridge attendance

Re: Hockey Withdrawl
The only team that was any trouble to the Corvair's is Hamilton and that was because the Bees can burn you if you hotdog. Caledonia would beat the next round opponent 4 straight. London and the Vair's learned the hard way you can't underestimate the ability of the Mid West Div. I watched a few games...

Re: Buffalo Regals
Yes that's true, attendance has little to do with survival. I was going to put up a picture of the arena in Oakville from friday nights playoff game. Roughly 250 on one side and only a few strays on the other. Tier 2 has 14 teams with avg attendance below 200. there are 9 teams from Buffalo to St Ca...

Re: Mid-Season Predictions
Corvairs have been shooting over 100 shots a game at the net each game this season, the only reason they get 4 goals a game. They can't shoot worth sht. Big mistake trading away McHugh, they only have a couple who can actually hit the net. The tight D in Elmira and the addition of G Baier in London ...

With what Rizzetto said about players in the dressing room quitting in the finals, it should be interesting to see if teams like the Maroons are actually benefiting by their latest signings

Re: Caledonia Corvairs
Apparently the Caledonia Group own to many other things to come to that conclusion, who knows maybe they're the group that went after the Steelheads. More information should come out eventually to show why they packed it in there, don't think the local player issue was the reason for no support, the...

Re: Caledonia Corvairs
When Caledonia decided to compete with the other teams that were bringing in OHL they did it big time. During that time suddenly the GO was ranked in top ten development leagues in the world. We got Russian goalies and a few more American US hockey league players. Fathers were saying that GO teams a...

London didn't look as strong as they did last year so it's hard to judge Listowel, if their goalie can keep up it may go 7

I heard that the Brantford team will know April 15th whether they move to Milton or maybe fold and run a tier two team in either city. They may continue to run both teams where they are now, word should come out some time that week

Re: Sutherland cup semi-finals, and predictions thread
I asked why the back up goalie played most of the playoffs last year and was told Chenard was injured. Wil Rawski 99ers goalie in 2015 looked like the best goalie in the league til he was injured, when he came back from that he looked like the worst

Re: Sutherland cup semi-finals, and predictions thread
Can Listowel get the puck past that OHL giant in London's net. Wouldn't put any money on the London series. Two offensive lines in London vs one offensive line in Listowel, I'd go with London in 5. I'm betting Elmira doesn't have the miracle goalie this year and someone said Stratford's weakness was...
