Well... a 16:0 loss on Saturday for the Bandits (at home) against Stratford.
I understand that the owner's attention is on his shiny new OHL toy, but meanwhile his GOJHL team is 1-6-1-0 and his official OHL affiliate in the OJHL is 0-6-0-2. Just looks weird, I guess.

I have my popcorn ready to endure this latest junior hockey circus act. Good times. As if the game of hockey isn't in a tough enough spot as it is. Yikes!

From the GOJHL Transaction page, they've acquired 4 and traded away 2 since January 8th.

Re: New Head Coach in London
Just looking for a bit of background here. Why did CM leave Komoka in the first place to go to London? I must've missed that detail. Now this? That's rough.
London is now being run for all the wrong reasons. Yikes.

Hopefully soon. Time to regroup for 2021-22. Get it over with and focus on the future.

Re: Tuck steps down
Honestly, I am not sure you really want anyone affiliated with the league at present. It might be better to have a fresh approach with someone who thinks differently and can manage the different personalities. Relationship building and effective collaboration skills will be key. And as someone else...

Re: Tuck steps down
Toss your name in. Why not? Life’s short. Be bold. I don't want the job. I've heard what league meetings are like, I don't want to deal with that, nor am I the right person. Fair enough, I guess. Are there any candidates from around the league (or beyond) that would be a good fit for the role?

Re: Tuck steps down
Well, you need to have someone who knows the political landscape within the league and within the governance structure in this province. That is the first thing. They need to forge ahead and protect the footprint because there is a battle on the horizon. And guess what...the OJHL has exploited the ...

16s vs 99s
I don't know if the GOJHL is going through a similar process, but... I caught wind that PJHL has put out a vote out to its membership (due today at noon) to see if the league will allow 1999-born players to play during the 2021-22 season and disallow 16-year-olds to play during the 2021-22 season. T...

No idea.
Wouldn't mind if people would keep things to themselves before blasting out a social media post like that. It raises a lot of questions without many concrete answers. Don't think it's appropriate.

Don't know about shuttering the franchise, but with 3 games remaining in their schedule and essentially no roster, the Yeck might only have 8 teams next season. Not 100% sure though.

Basement C Teams
Took a look at the PJHL standings today and noticed a few teams who would maybe want to press a restart button on their season. Any insights on: 1. Little Britain: 0-30-1 2. Campbellford: 0-30-0 3. Orillia: 3-31-0 4. Goderich & Hanover: 6-23-3 & 6-24-3 5. Wallaceburg: 3-28-0 6. Lucan: 3-25-2...

Again? As in they have quit before? Hope that’s not the case. The team is 5-12-3-1 and could still turn it around, maybe?

Re: Strathroy Rockets
This comes up at least once a season, why don't you play at the new arena, why do you still play at the old arena, the new arena would be so much better for your fans, etc. The answer is that the Gemini is a piece of crap, that's why we don't play there. The dressing room they built for us was not ...

The next 5 games:
at London
at St Marys
vs London
vs St Marys
at Komoka
A prediction (for fun):
L, W, L, W, W
A 3-2-0 record would good. The two losses would be against London.

An impressive turn around in North Middlesex. More often than not, I am seeing wins from the Stars and that’s s good thing. I also like the fact they’ve got a younger guy behind the GMs desk. More Junior C teams should be run by younger blood. It’s a great opportunity for younger people to get invol...

Re: Jr.C player scores 8 goals in a game
Alliston forward Drake Broad scored 8 goals and added 2 assists in his teams 16-2 win tonight. He scored 6 or 7 goals in a row. What a game! As soon as I saw this post I knew they had to have played Orillia. That team at the moment is in absolute shambles. Wow. Pretty cool hockey story for Drake go...

Re: Is it working in Komoka?
First off lets compare apples to apples. In the Preds first year in the league they averaged 299 fans per game, finishing with a record 10 -35 - 7, that was up 99 fans per game from the previous year in Petrolia. The second year they averaged 266 with a record of 6 - 44,,,, the third with a record ...

Re: Strathroy Rockets
We have been Rockets fans for many years, and I have to say about the last five to seven years it has slowly been deteriorating. I know I have already stated this but a community owned team does not have deep pockets like the privately owned teams. Whether this is the lynch pin in what’s happening ...

Is it working in Komoka?
The team is 4-10-3-1, sitting in 2nd last place, battling with St. Marys and to some extent, the Rockets, in the basement. So I will ask - Is it working in Komoka? How has attendance been? Does the “town” even care that they’re there? Thoughts? How many years until they move again or pack it in? Eng...
