I understand that the owner's attention is on his shiny new OHL toy, but meanwhile his GOJHL team is 1-6-1-0 and his official OHL affiliate in the OJHL is 0-6-0-2. Just looks weird, I guess.

I have my popcorn ready to endure this latest junior hockey circus act. Good times. As if the game of hockey isn't in a tough enough spot as it is. Yikes!

Honestly, I am not sure you really want anyone affiliated with the league at present. It might be better to have a fresh approach with someone who thinks differently and can manage the different personalities. Relationship building and effective collaboration skills will be key. Don't know about shuttering the franchise, but with 3 games remaining in their schedule and essentially no roster, the Yeck might only have 8 teams next season. Not 100% sure though.
