Re: St.Catharines(2) vs Ancaster(3), 2nd Round Playoff Thread
Cali,l don't that Ancaster played terrible. Maybe think its an oversimplication, as you are correct that it was giveaways/failing to clear the zone that gave st.kitts all three of their goals. That said I'd give the first period play edge to Ancaster (which was typically their best period each game)...

Re: St.Catharines(2) vs Ancaster(3), 2nd Round Playoff Thread
I did not read the article about what the coach said after. I was referring to his behaviour on the bench during the game. Like I said, St. Kitts has a reputation for being a classy team. Whining at the refs all game long, every game is not class, and not what I have seen from this team in the past....

Re: St.Catharines(2) vs Ancaster(3), 2nd Round Playoff Thread
A lot of focus on this missed call. Yes if earlier in the game, it gets called. But what no one has mentioned is the high stick Ancasters forward took on the play that split his lip. Does the ref call both and give the St. Kitts player a 4 min. I guess Wolfes point is a that they expected a whistle?...

Re: St.Catharines(2) vs Ancaster(3), 2nd Round Playoff Thread
I believe I brought up the larger ice surface advantage for Ancaster, and did mention that this was lost due the the compressor failure on the 'A' rink. Ancaster can take advantage of St. Kitts on larger ice, but it still does not guarantee a win. Nobody out works the Falcons. That with their depth,...

Re: St.Catharines(2) vs Ancaster(3), 2nd Round Playoff Thread
Doesn't take much to get under the skin of some Caledonia fans. Nobody was blaming the rink for the loss. Just sharing an opinion that of all the rinks in the loop, or in any league, this rink holds a distinct home advantage. There's no disputing it. The game was Ancasters to win and yes their abiss...

Re: St.Catharines(2) vs Ancaster(3), 2nd Round Playoff Thread
Some thoughts on game one. St. Kitts deserved the penalties they got, and maybe thankful they didn't get more. The missed calls were probably even, so we'll call it square. Big advantage of the night was the home ice. St.Kitts is a hard working team that is built for that barn. They pressure hard an...
