Re: Caledonia Bushleaguers SWEPT!!!

I have to smile reading these posts following Listowel's win. Congratulations to Listowel for winning the cup this year. Congratulations to Elmira for winning it last year. Congratulations to Caledonia for winning it the year before that (and the year before that and the year before that). It's an a...

Re: More on the Caledonia Rule

How can you not like an organization like that? We need more clubs like Caledonia, Leamington, LaSalle, etc. Port Hockey - thank you for identifying some of top teams that are deserving of recognition in the league. Junior hockey is a business. Successful hockey businesses flourish as...

Quote: I learned a few things from my time in the OHL/QMJHL and my Jr.B career. We may have had a lot of fans in JR.A but Jr.B hockey taught me no matter how many fans they are some of the best in jr.b because they respect us so much more especially when in a small community such as Elmira where I p...

Re: Zottl steps on Crowder

"But that's what the appeal process is for. For the OHA to review incidences and make further calls that the referees did not make, for whatever reason." With respect to the posted comment above - agreed. With respect to the assessment of a match penalty in this situation: disagree. A matc...

Re: Zottl steps on Crowder

Thanks for your input. It was my intention to address the issue of the match penalty, and whether that specific penalty should have been assessed. There will be varying opinions; however I think it's important to address the issue, rather than labelling players. Disrespecting players, posters, fans,...

Re: Zottl steps on Crowder

"Doesn't matter if it was intentional or not he still did it." Respectfully disagree. I've reviewed the video several times. Zottl is dragged over Crowder by the official. Players are supposed to be pulled away from the opposing player, not dragged over them due to potential risk for injur...
