Re: Trouble in Komoka
Having the great experience of operating junior teams I applaud anyone including the komoka people for icing a decent jr b team. Not many people can even begin to operate jr b teams as it takes quite a bit of work and determination to provide hockey for 25 players and fans. Good luck komoka and do ...

I agree, it looked like the Nats made the right decision last season as he struggled to stop pucks. This season he has been solid as a rock in net with great numbers to show for it.jimmorrison wrote: ↑Wed Nov 01, 2017 4:21 pm Scary to imagine how this team would do without Weir in net.

We're at every WF game and Leamington is easily the team to beat so far. Hope it changes in favor of us but right now they're the best team.

Re: London Strong Again
Big pickup by London on pointstreak. 4 year OHL vet Ovsjannikov. Elmira must have proved to them that having the top goalie can win you a championship I think the lesson was good coaching will win you a championship. Goal-tending, scoring and defense are also part of the equation. SugarKing is clea...

"Nothing more delusional than saying teams that couldn't make it to a final, beat a team that's in the final. And no my logic isn't that Listowel is the best because they beat Elmira. London walked through Listowel. To be honest, I don't agree with the wild Card scenario anyways. I just can't u...

All I can remember about last years posts was about how when London won the series that you were gonna be waving the flag in all of our faces at the western fair. Yea does it hurt missing Lindy. All I can think about was how many posts were on here last season during the finals about how 'Bully' knows how to coach and motivate his players..bla bla bla. Clearly just a guy that stands there and rolls his lines, being exposed this playoffs without those few big guns on the team. No answers at...

Game 1 was intense last night, anyone else there to see it? Leamington is actually playing alot better then I originally thought, should be great games regardless of how long it goes.

Re: Final Round in the West
I wouldn't say for Lasalle to be ashamed, perhaps give the young flyers some credit, wont be a cake walk like everyone thinks for London. I did, I said Leamington were well coached. I watched the finals last season when the Nats staff found ways to beat a team that finished well ahead of the rest o...

Re: Final Round in the West
Both teams are welled coached, both teams play on the big ice, both teams are coming off huge playoff wins. Leamington isn't as good as they were last season, not even close and the Nats disposed of them in 6. I honestly don't see this going past 5 games with the Nats defending the west crown. Lasal...

Re: Chatham vs London
Is anyone else wondering how the ownership for Chatham is feeling this morning? I mean, you fire a coach that has your team in a great position and end up bowing out in the 2nd round with arguably the strongest team in the west. Just doesn't make sense. I was only able to make the home games in Lond...

St. Mary's season ends tonight will a lop-sided win by the Nats on home ice. Should have been a sweep. Bring on Chatham.

Re: First round playoff predictions
I know I predicted Nats in 4 but after seeing that young goalie last night play for St. Mary's they may have a chance to upset. He was the reason that game wasn't 7-0. Where did he come from? Seriously? Do you follow hockey? He's a Knights draft pick. He's played up with them recently but has playe...

Re: First round playoff predictions
For the Strathroy Rockets fans, this year can't end fast enough. I not sure using the word disappointing quite covers the feeling of sitting through so many losses. From my own perspective there is one really big issue and hopefully post season that boil is lanced. However, there will always be nex...

Re: Race in the West
With the single point last night from Chatham, the Nats have to hope they only tie once more and lose the rest to catch them. Stars/Nats game is a big one for both teams but the Sarnia/Shores game is meaningless today. Family Day hockey at the WF!

Re: Race in the West
Nats can still catch Chatham if they can win the remainder of their games and get help with Chatham losses. 6,7,8 still up for grabs depending on which team wins their games. 4 and 5 are the only locks, Chatham can still catch Lasalle if they win the remaining games and Lasalle losses theirs. Ton of...

Re: Play-offs
Strathroy and St. Thomas are clean sweeps in the first round for whoever plays them. Haven't seen these two teams this weak in a lot of years. St. Marys is obviously the most underrated and dangerous of the bottom 4. 4/5 series is a toss up as always. Not sure if Tony has enough in Leamington to get...

I completely agree, this is a very dangerous team if you're not prepared to work hard.flyers2011 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 30, 2017 1:32 pm One thing about St Marys is they work hard, if you take a shift off they will outwork you. Whoever gets them first round better not take them lightly.
