The vote was 58-47 to oust the OHA board. Special Meeting tomorrow night where Tom Strauch is supposed to be appointed the new President. Everything for this year stays the same, any changes would take affect next season.

Sounds like Tonner finally got his wish to move the Simcoe Storm to Hespeler. Still surprised it took this long for the OHA to make it official.

Re: New Jr C Rule
There are lots of PJHL teams that didn't even come close to the limit of four B players. They should have just named it the Ayr rule. Before the playoffs had started I remember seeing a stat saying that Ayr's roster had almost 300 playoff games of experience above the C level.

I was in Ayr for Games 5 and 7 against Essex and listening to Ayr fans bitch about not getting calls to me was ridiculous. Re: Ayr Centenials
Ayr on the brink after losing last night in Essex 4-2. The most glaring stat in this series to me is the number of power plays for each team Essex has had 33 while Ayr has had 15. Having seen Ayr play this year they are not exactly choir boys and sure have enjoyed running over opposing goalies but t...

Agree with everything he say's other than the part where he say's Simcoe Storm would say the same thing. I know a player that played back in 2010 that turned down many offers including an offer of $4,000.00 to finish the year from January 9/2011 on, in Simcoe and another $8,000.00 to be one of the ...

Re: Who has the best team
I agree with you about Dorchester, have heard that they had improved on the back end but their division may be the weakest in the whole League. Also can't argue with the teams you listed. Still not sold on Ayr's goaltending I was surprised they didn't make a move to upgrade in goal at the deadline.

The Nats let him go from their support staff last season as well from my knowledge and from rumblings around the WF. Gotta say this is probably the first move that this management group has made that doesn't make a lick of sense to me. Bradshaw is a brutal referee, saw him do a game two weeks ago where the home team goalie got a high stick in the throat he's looking right at the goalie when it happened and didn't even make a call. Later in the game the visiting team goalie throws the puck over the glass after giving up a goal agai...

Apparently Gazzolla (sp?) is hurt and may not play this year according to a tweet from Jason Lott. Makes sense why he'd want another year. Anyone know why Michaelis went to C?
