Re: Ouch!!
I'm curious as to why they did this in the middle of the season, which ultimately led to all of them being suspended. What was the point of doing it now rather than wait until the season was over?? Now those kids don't get to finish out their season.

Didn't expect it to be a blowout, Chatham played hard but the Falcons were just too good. Congrats to both teams.

Re: Sutherland Cup
It should be an eye opener for St. Catharines and Cambridge playing in Chatham Memorial. That is likely a completely different atmosphere than they have ever experienced before. We wish the Maroons well. The Falcons loved the atmosphere in the Chatham arena. Thank you Chatham fans for motivating th...

Re: Anybody out there????
Great to see Fort Erie giving Hamilton a run for their money! Caledonia did a good job of getting under the skin of the Falcons which led to them taking bad penalties. There was a lot of bad reffing in there too, especially when things got out of control last Saturday night. Bully is making a fool o...

Noticed that Riva, McEachern and Felicetti didn't play the last few games for NF and the Transactions show that McEachern has moved on to an OJ team. Is this the start of an exodus of their top players as a result of the mess they made?

Re: When will they pull the plug on this season?
What he saidWhy would they?
As soon as they do -- the players become free agents and can go where seasons are still going without teams being compensated for the move. Also would mean teams couldn't continue to practice as insurance wouldn't cover team skates that are going on (even if no games).

How can they change the penalty on Pointstreak after the refs have signed off on it as an MP99 (which would have been 7 games)?

Heard Kidd walked out. He got the win over NF Friday night.
Looks like Pelham rebounded from the drama with a double OT win over Fort Erie last night. Looks like they were lucky to get Fleming from Cali.

Passing of FE's Tony Passero
Thoughts and prayers go out to the family of FE owner, Tony Passero and the Fort Erie Meteor organization. Tony had a passion for the game and will be greatly missed.

Congrats to Ancaster for the drama show they put on last night, not one of those hits resulted in, nor was an intent to, injure. They would have been normal body checks on anyone over 5'7'. Series should have been over on Wed when Dunda scored in the 2nd OT and it went through the net. The trajector...

Re: Corvairs vs Falcons
Great game, both teams played hard, but the new talent on the Falcons showed their stuff and it ended in a great win for them. What happened to the refs being a no show? Someone dropped the ball as they had to scramble to put a team together. Game started 20 minutes late and then in the 2nd intermis...

Re: St Catharines vs Niagara Falls
I agree every rink has homer fans who think every check is worthy of a penalty, but I've yet to see a ref make a call based on that.
My comment was in regards to how wrong it was for fans to try to influence refs, but the irony of a player cheating to get a call.

Re: St Catharines vs Niagara Falls
Seriously? But I guess Punkari pulling Marinier's stick to his face, then skating to the bench to bite his lip and showing the ref an already chipped tooth is ok?
Maybe you are just not used to the noise that fans can make considering your attendance all year.
