I think St. Catherines will take it in 2 games.

Brampton has a new name, Caledon Bombers. So there's gonna be a Caledon and a Caledonia. That's not gonna get confusing at all! At least they're in different conferences, Brampton and Brantford were in the same conference. To be honest, I'm surprised the OHA allowed 3 teams playing out of 1 rink.

Just move the games to larger venues. For example , the Dutchmen should have played in the main Aud, Nationals at Bud Gardens, LaSalle at WFCU, etc. The more spread out the crowd, the lesser of risk of spreading.

And how many show up to the 99er’s game. I can tell ya. Not a whole lot. Maybe 100-150. That’s pathetic as well. What's more pathetic is that there is 8 teams in the OJHL doing worse in attendance. There are too many junior teams in Ontario as it is. The leagues (all of them) are so watered down in comparison. Wonder why the NAHL, BCHL, etc. are so much better? I agree. I think they should just merge with another organization or fold. There's no real need for 26 Jr B teams in Southern Ontario...

Since he has the OJHL team, I don't think he cares about the B team. I heard rumors they might be moving but Im not sure about that.

You definitely got your money's worth today. After the first period, I thought Waterloo was done but they seemed they seemed to be in it in the 2nd.

I'm pretty sure Lockport and Pelham didn't build their teams for a SC run either though.

The midwest was pretty tight this year, with Waterloo coming in 3rd with only 3 points behind Listowel. I'm not too surprised to be honest.

There was complaints when Owen Sound was in the league because of distance, besides, how many teams can Collingwood go through?

That's the only way I'd support Collingwood getting a team, along with towns like Owen Sound etc... it's just way too out of the way compared to other teams

I highly doubt that Listowel, Stratford, Elmira and Waterloo will fold in favor of Branford, Brampton and Cambridge.

Pelham starting 2-0 might surprise some. But I'm expecting a top 3 finish from the Panthers this season. Honestly, I think Elmira can take it, Listowel won their series by 1 goal, but I don't expect them to get blown over either.

I have one thing to gripe about. Went to the game in Listowel last night to check out their new facility. Beautiful new home for the Cyclones but we didn't appreciate having to sit in the parking lot for what seemed an eternity to get out of there. Whoever designed that set up gets an 'F'. Not real...
