Re: Upset in the Making?

The midwest was pretty tight this year, with Waterloo coming in 3rd with only 3 points behind Listowel. I'm not too surprised to be honest.

but the 2 hour drive for St Marys-London- St Thomas-Komoka to Lasalle and Leamington is acceptable
There was complaints when Owen Sound was in the league because of distance, besides, how many teams can Collingwood go through?

I know for a fact that a Eastern/Northern Conference can be a go and there are MULTIPLE locations interested.
That's the only way I'd support Collingwood getting a team, along with towns like Owen Sound etc... it's just way too out of the way compared to other teams

Re: First week surprises, and thoughts

Pelham starting 2-0 might surprise some. But I'm expecting a top 3 finish from the Panthers this season. They've managed to hang onto some players from the last few years, and they look like a pretty solid team this year. They probably have the best goalie in the league. Still waiting to see how th...

Re: Where is Everyone?

I have one thing to gripe about. Went to the game in Listowel last night to check out their new facility. Beautiful new home for the Cyclones but we didn't appreciate having to sit in the parking lot for what seemed an eternity to get out of there. Whoever designed that set up gets an 'F'. Not real...

I find it interesting as well. Mind you, I am biased to Machado's line of thinking, not his tactics. This whole situation reminds me of a monopoly. Honestly, the OHA has dropped the ball when it comes to reclassification and a primer league.

I think it's funny that they are tied with Buffalo for the most amount of points. Elmira didn't have Reinhart at the beginning of the 2015/16 season either. I wonder if they will announce that they were the 2016 Sutherland Cup champions as the players jump on the ice every period. They did that afte...

There are lots of PJHL teams that didn't even come close to the limit of four B players. They should have just named it the Ayr rule. Elmira's up 2-0 in the 2nd period tonight. I think they're bring the Sutherland Cup back to the Mid-West, for the first time in several seasons. Elmira was up 2-0 on Listowel before losing in 6. London, in my perception is the better team and in the course of the long run, I believe will come on top.

Listowel has the arena advantage since Elmira and Waterloo has Olympic ice pads. Im not sure of the smaller rinks of the west, but I think London will have it harder adjusting to Listowel's ice compared to Listowel adjusting to London's
