Re: New Head Coach in London
Back to this bounty accusation(s). If that is true, what has/is the league doing about it? That’s incredibly serious. If something happens now and the league sat back doing nothing, that would be extremely detrimental to the league as a whole.

Re: Hockey Withdrawl
I think the way Leamington was rolling, they would’ve beaten London in the West final. Caledonia easily wins GH Stratford was rolling too and beats Elmira but loses to Kitchener. London with 2 sweeps against Sarnia and Lasalle and then losing in 6 or 7 to Leamington ends up in the (stupid) WC spot. ...

Re: Playoff Predictions
What $ is that? St Marys traded the rights to 2 players plus a little bit of cash to St Thomas for the rights to 3 players. Overall on the season, StM isn’t too far from net 0, when it comes to $ for players coming and going. Like I said before, it’s a smaller market team, that can’t afford 10s of t...

Re: Playoff Predictions
London vs Sarnia - London in 4 London to much depth and fire power for Sarnia to handle. Pretty easy decision here Leamington vs. Komoka - Leamington in 6 Komoka has younger McConnell-Barker in the line up full time and he will help make them deeper. Komoka coach always finds a way to have his team...

Re: Playoff Predictions
London in 4 over Sarnia. Sarnia routinely gives up 40-50+ shots, so for Sarnia to even be in a game, DeKoning will have to stand on his head, especially with their lack of scoring depth. Sarnia has a few guys that are looking at their last hockey and are used to getting involved in some of the “fun”...

Hey anonymous. You know what wasn’t very long ago. 2 hours ago, when someone’s head coach was threatening a kid’s life that was just cleaning a room. That’s something that is actually a disgrace to the league. Please tell us more about how many goals you scored for your 4-peat. Was it all because of...

I just thought I’d toss out an option, other than hockeytv, for gojhl fans that want to listen to their team’s game when they play the Lincolns. Or other fans that just want to take in other games. https://www.stmarysradio.com/ Spencer Seymour, a recent graduate of Humber in radio and broadcasting, ...

Re: 19/20 Season Predictions
Doesn't St Marys have a good core of returning players? Can't see them being a last place team if that's the case. Ya. Anywhere from 10-14 players. These players lost something like 15 games by a goal last year(including games with EN goals). That experience will go a long way. They’ve also been th...

Re: St Mary's Blows out Chatham
To take a line from LincBrass, it's St Marys. It's a town, not a church, so there's no apostrophe. I had to log in for the first time in a while just to offer my regards for that. Regarding officiating, I wasn't at the Chatham game, but over the course of the season, it evens out. I thought S...

Re: LaSalle eliminates mighty Sugar Kings
Two years with a wild card format and both years the wild card team makes it to the finals. Perhaps an indication of how much parity there is among the top clubs. The LaSalle win has to go down as a big surprize especially after losing the first two games by such a wide margin - both 7-2 Elmira win...

It's almost like some posters have only watched this league for 2 seasons? Last season, and this season have been rough, but prior to that it wasn't all doom and gloom. 2012, the only year they didn't make the playoffs in a long time, they were loaded up with 20 year olds, and had a 7-1, or 8-1 star...

Zantimisfit is afraid of nuthin'. What I hate is the horrible new forum which includes it's setup and overall look. If Kevin wants to run it that way then he has every right to do so, but I doubt very much if I'll be posting over there this year. Maybe I'll just stick to this forum and run down the...

Sorry, my bad. I shouldve never said that. No junior player has ever received money, or other services for playing hockey in this province or country before. I screwed up. I promise to not bring it up again.

They rate teams based upon how well they play against other teams and how good those teams are. These two factors are "AGD" or "average goal differential" and "SCHED" or "strength of schedule". AGD is currently calculated by accumulating the goal differential ...

I don't think anyone cares what "Brick" thinks about anything. If the owners are picking up the tab , they run the show , its no different than Dads or Uncles coaching in Minor Hockey and picking thier relatives and friends kids. Teams paying players is a bigger issue , which will destroy...

I think it looks great. The gold will look nice resting just below the leaf. Maybe those people should look at every jersey since the dawn of sports. Don't they all have the brand on them. Every jersey I own does.

I think it's the teams in the finals. You could count Kitchener's fans on one hand, then use the other hand to count Brantford's fans. I've never been to Brantford, but if you're a student looking for somewhere to study, go to a Kitchener game. It's like a library.
