Re: Sutherland Cup Finals; London vs Elmira
I attended the game last night and although the announced attendance figure was officially announced as 872, I thought it looked to be over 1,000 in the stands & in the restaurant combined. Someone posted that attendance may be down because the overall quality of the skill/speed has gone downhil...

[quote=DetroitFan post_id=46526 time=1483017076 user_id=3736] I am another former poster and it has been so long that I forgot my user name and password. As a fan of the Essex/Kent County teams, Leamington, LaSalle (Tecumseh), and Chatham, I stopped posting because of the couple of bullies on here t...

Re: Sutherland Cup Finals; London vs Elmira
I took in the game tonight at Western Fair arena. I must say I'm surprised & disappointed that there were less than 1,000 fans announced, which is a shame. I thought for certain there would be many more local hockey fans interested with the London Knights out, the Maple Leafs out, and no other C...

Re: Caledonia Bushleaguers Bushwhacked!!!
I didn't blame the officials. I said they took iffy penalties. As in, they weren't playing with enough discipline. I also said I underestimated Elmira. You're a funny, bitter dude though. :smt020 #Falcons2nd I am sorry Mr. self-proclaimed "Howard Stern of hockey" but I don't care at all t...

Re: Another classless knight in Leaminton
Well I don't come here as much as I used to. Admittedly, I have no horse in the race, so my interest isn't what it used to be since the team I used to follow has lost me as a fan. Nonetheless, I see that one of the other reasons I don't come here as often as I used to is still going on sadly. Yes, t...

I was getting bored not engaging in a battle of wits with someone so ill-equipped to do so. But I will admit you do have at least half a wit....

[quote="Port hockey1"]Funny how you think it's ok for London players to make gestures, but not Chatham fans...It's ok to kick the net off and run the goalie...But you leave our London boys alone. Lmao!!! Don't worry, two more games and you wont have to deal with us anymore...I hope the peo...

Or as Peter Griffin would say, "I hope they display the same kind of good sportsmanship that Lambton Shores usually displays."

Re: Strathroy pushed to brink of elimination
I am not one usually blaming officials as the calls most often have a way of evening out in a series. HOWEVER, both of those goals look legit from the video evidence. From the angles presented and judging the stick positioning from both Rocket players near the net, no stick ever appears to be remote...

Re: Preds continue solid play of late
Admin, thank you very much for the advice! flyers2011 I took the advice and it is true, I only see your 2 posts and I'm sure there must have been a response in between there. But nonetheless it is refreshing to not have to engage in a battle of wits with someone who is ill-equipped to do so. Wonder ...

Re: Preds continue solid play of late
flyers2011 I appreciate the majority of your informative posts, thanks. Especially when you don't get dragged into a childish back & forth argument with some fool who is sadly, all over these boards with his nonsense. I usually come here to read the information about the league that I prefer to ...

Changes brewing in Rocketland??
I know it is June (almost) already, and damn, where did the spring go? But with the Stanley Cup playoffs still on, it should be ok to bring up hockey discussion topics possibly affecting the WOHL. I have heard recent rumblings that a handful of Rocket veterans may be jumping ship to play Jr. C next ...

Re: Owen Sound
Good to see that they are improving at least. Coach Gibbons has an unenviable job to keep the young team motivated night in and night out. I know Kyle McMillan has been hurt most of the season so far and he is one of their better offensive players. Hope he can return fully healthy soon as he will he...

Re: eagles keep winning
Yes 'EaglesRock' is trolling and he had a decent haul here. There is no sense in complaining about how Brantford buys their players because over the years there have always been a few teams in nearly every 'amateur' junior league who have done the same thing be it in the form of cash, living arrange...
